Averys Maryland Grille

Averys Maryland Grille has lots of delicious crab options on the menu. Starting with appetizers, it has a crab quesadilla, crab dip, and a crab pretzel, which is a soft pretzel topped with crab dip and cheddar cheese. For those who’d rather start with a bowl of soup, crab options are available here too. The Maryland crab soup is aromatic and flavorful, while the cream of crab soup is loaded with jumbo jump crab cooked in a creamy broth. Other crab favorites on the menu include the crab BLT melt, crab cakes, and the Old Bay platter.

Ragin’ Reef

Ragin’ Reef may be lacking in its crab selection, but it makes up for it in taste. Start your meal off with the crab “no” cake salad, which consists of romaine lettuce, tortilla strips, roasted corn, tomatoes, and crab meat served with a cilantro vinaigrette. The crispy stuffed shrimp is loaded with juicy crab meat, covered in panko, and served with cocktail sauce, fries, and coleslaw. Try the crab “no” cake sandwich, which has crab meat, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce and comes with french fries.

Firestone’s Raw Bar

Located in downtown Frederick, Firestone’s Raw Bar has been creating delicious cuisine since 1999. The restaurant makes great food and provides customers with excellent service. We recommend starting off with the Maryland crab dip. It’s made with three cheeses and is served with a baguette. Other appetizers include steamed mussels, jerk shrimp, and ahi tuna tartar. For your entree, have the Maryland crab cakes, which are served with asparagus.

Schuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar

This option comes with a dozen oysters, a dozen clams, a pound of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, two pieces of corn, and two sides of coleslaw. The restaurant also offers a steamed sampler for which you can choose three types of shellfish.
